Indoneisan coffees are exotic and extremely renowned.  This full bodied yet very smooth Sumatran is sweet and nutty, with earthy notes and fruity aromas.  Its low acidity makes for an extremelely balanced cup.  Dark roasted and rounded out with a smokiness and intense bold flavours of deep caramel and rustic chocolate

Dark roast without bitterness!

Good product overshadowed by the use of a best before date.

You can't tell when these beans were roasted because Java Works refuses to use a "roasted on date", which is the industry standard in the specialty coffee space. If I wanted grocery store standards of freshness, I would have gone to Walmart and saved myself a lot of money. I don't understand why Java Works seems so resistant to using a "roasted on date" on their products. Unfortunately, the only explanation that makes sense is that they don't want customers to know how stale the coffee is when purchased.

To my tastes a good, rich dark roast! This flavour proper puts me in mind to grind if fine and make myself a Vietnamese coffee! Condensed milk, roch dark roast, drip, drip, drip: YUM!
