A classic single origin Brazil and the definition of a fine, dependable cup. Grown at the lower altitudes typical of Brazil's coffee regions, around 2,000 to 4,000 feet, it carries a low to moderate acidity balanced by a rich, full body and a soft, mellow finish. Look for flavour notes of citrus, sweet cherry and cocoa.
We roast it medium to bring out its natural sweetness, which makes it one of the most versatile beans on our shelf. It pulls a smooth, chocolatey espresso, brews clean and full in a drip machine, and is a reliable everyday go-to in an AeroPress.
