Kenya - Kagumo AA [227g]
From the Nyeri in the Muranga district, this juicy new Kenyan is the culmination of various small holder farmers part of the Mutira Farmers Co-operative.
Kagumo is located on the western slope of Mount Kenya and the eastern slopes of the Abardare Range. The earth is made up of red volcanic soil - infusing the coffees with minerals that improve production and quality.
These cherries are hand picked and wet-milled with clean river water. They are dried on raised African beds.
If you are a fan of acidic coffees, this Kenyan has a juicy acidity reminiscent of Green apple, with a smooth finish similar to that of strong black tea.
